Rocky Kimomo

Rocky Kimomo, whose real name is Uwizeye Marc, is a multi-talented figure in Rwanda's entertainment scene. Born on January 1, 1991, in Muhima and raised in Gatsata, Rocky has made a name for himself as a film interpreter, talent manager, social media influencer, and entrepreneur. Since 2015, he has been renowned for translating films into Kinyarwanda, contributing significantly to Rwanda's film industry and entertainment sector. He's the founder and CEO of Rocky Entertainment, a record label known for uplifting local artists like Papa Cyangwe, Generous 44, Mirabyo The Warren, and Emeline Penzi. His entrepreneurial spirit doesn't stop there; he also ventured into tourism with Kimomo Safaris, promoting domestic tourism in Rwanda. His accolades include recognition as the Best Movie Interpreter at the Made in Rwanda Awards in 2019, and in 2020, he received the Best Influencer of the Year award at The Choice Awards. These achievements underscore his influence and success in the Rwandan entertainment industry.
